About Me
Solomon Jones is the author of the critically acclaimed novel, “Pipe Dream” (Random House, 2001), the story of four drug addicts pursued for a murder they did not commit. Selected by the American Library Association as one of the ten best crime novels of the year, “Pipe Dream” preceded three additional Jones novels that examined the drug culture: “The Bridge,” “Ride Or Die” and “C.R.E.A.M” (St. Martins Press, 2003, 2005, and 2006, respectively). An award-winning humorist, Jones pens the Weekend Warrior column for the Philadelphia Daily News, and wrote the short story collection, “Keeping Up With The Jones: marriage, family and life … unplugged” (Sola Productions, 2005). He has been published in Newsday, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Magazine and the Philadelphia Weekly, and is a former adjunct professor at his alma mater, Temple University. Jones, who lives in Philadelphia with his wife and children, recently completed his forthcoming novel, “Payback.”
