About Me
As an intern at the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, 20-year-old Jess Hoffman will be blogging this summer to share her perspective on the teen and young adult experience. Jess, a New Jersey native and big sister to three teens, is currently entering her junior year at the University of Michigan, where she is majoring in English and Creative Writing. She hopes to one day be an essayist, and this past year was awarded a Hopwood for two of her creative nonfiction pieces. Jess spends her time at school hanging out with friends, playing intramural soccer, and working on the central planning team of the University of Michigan Dance Marathon fundraiser.
