Johanna Bailey is a freelance writer and mom who lives in Madrid, Spain. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Johanna spent her formative years swilling ample amounts of Utah's 3% alcohol content beer. Over the next several years she picked up a bevy of other bad habits, a master's degree in psychology from NYU and a Colombian husband. With the support of her family and friends, she managed to kick her addictions, hold onto the husband and fulfill her dream of living all over the world. She has now lived in New York City, France, Chile, Japan, Switzerland and Spain. She has written for Craft magazine, Babble.com and the Washington Post among others.
