About Me
In his entire life, James Ponti has had about three sips of alcohol and that last was 23 years ago. He’s never had a single puff of a cigarette much less any drug (not even a sip of coffee). But he’s spent a lot of time figuring out what’s protected him from drugs and alcohol and how to cultivate these tools in his sons. James is very enthusiastic about parenting. Having never met his father, he’s spent his whole life wanting to be a good one. He is eager to share his parenting experiences – and feels he has a lot to learn from other parents. James is a graduate of University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television and has written and produced programs for a variety of television networks including Nickelodeon, The Disney Channel, PBS, The History Channel, Spike TV and the Golf Channel. He is also the author of several middle-grade and young-adult books for Simon & Schuster. James lives in Florida with his wife, Denise, and their two sons, 14-year-old Alex and 12-year-old Grayson.
